Each W7 subwoofer built in Miramar, Florida is made to the highest quality standards using components from around the world. Each model is unique from the surround to the back-plate. Even the bolts and screws used for assembly were designed and made to our specifications.

W7AE “10th Anniversarqy Edition”:

2011 was the tenth year of our flagship automotive subwoofer driver models. Each W7 model now comes in an “Anniversary Edition (AE) trim. It features a satin-black frame, bright-anoized trim rings, and special badges. The original silver-framed W7 drivers were discontinued.

JL AUDIO adds TW3 Thin Line Subwoofer and Dual 8 ohm Subwoofer

JL Audio is a pioneer in high-end audio solutions and has added dual 8-ohm impedance models for its TW3 thin-line subwoofers. Installers now have more options for wiring and impedance, including the ability of running two TW3 subwoofers at the same 2-ohm mono load.

The TW3 thin-line subwoofers continue to offer dual 4-ohm models in addition to the dual-8 ohm impedance. The TW3 subwoofer drivers are jl audio w7  available in sizes 10-inch and 12 inches. They use Concentric Tube Suspension technology, which allows for a very shallow mounting depth.

W3v3’s provide outstanding performance at medium power levels without the need for a large enclosure.

The latest generation of W3’s is enriched with a range of advanced technologies that were originally developed for the W7’s. Multiple patented technologies improve performance and reliability. These innovations make the v3 the most reliable and sounding W3’s.

The simple and elegant look of a mineral-filled polypropylene cone body combined with a JL Audio logo metallion is achieved by a simple, but stylish design. The mounting flange trim rings can be removed and customized to receive grille-mesh inserts. (Grille mesh inserts can be purchased separately).

W3v3’s manufactured in Miramar, Florida to high quality standards with global components are available in five sizes ranging from nominal diameters of 6.5 to 13.5 inches.

For applications that require depth, the world-class performance and superior sound quality are available.

The TW3’s build on the TW5v2 core technology and offer a powerful combination in depth mounting and excursion. They can actually provide more linear excursion than both the TW5v2 and deeper W3v3 subwoofers.

JL Audio’s thin line woofer technology allows this feat to be accomplished by compressing the TW3’s architecture using a “concentric tub” structure that is built into the cone body. This structure supports the spider and voice coil, while allowing for the larger motor structure to be placed further forward than in conventional designs.

TW3’s can be used in extremely small enclosures. They also have our tab-ear mounting design that maximizes cone area within their mounting footprints.

The rugged 10W0v3 is a reliable performer that has excellent linearity and excursion capabilities. It also offers a wide performance range jl audio w7  that places it at the top end of its price category. It has a 2 in. For enhanced power handling and reliability, the voice coil is 2 in.

The 10W0v3 can be used with amplifier power between 75W and 300W. It is compact enough to fit in a 0.65 cu. 18.4 l) in a sealed enclosure or 1.125 cu. ft. (31.9 l) ported enclosure. You can find detailed enclosure recommendations in the “Specifications” tab.
